The first tablet with Tizen OS:An Android Competitive

By on 18:30

Tizen , the system born from the ashes of MeeGo and bada , is finally about to see the light, thanks to products intended for developers as this tablet has recently been presented at the Japan Expo. The tablet is marketed by Systena but apparently has been manufactured by Samsung, and will be marketed in future.

The tablet does not have a specific name and is aimed at developers who want to create applications for Tizen. This tablet is on board Tizen version 2.1 , with a very interesting hardware: the quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 running at 1.4GHz (probably an Exynos), 2 GB of RAM, 10.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1200.

The decision to create dedicated hardware developers is not unusual and is not surprising: the soul of an operating system consists of applications created by third parties. The road to the official launch is a good way to make at least a basis for this OS may be growing.

No pricing or release dates, but we'll have more news shortly after the conference that Samsung will take a few days.
