With the Iconia Tab A200 Acer has it apart especially on tablet newcomers and users. Visually, it differs from its predecessor mainly by its rounded edges.
The technical details of the A200 are decent but not outstanding. The tablet is powered by Nvidia's Tegra 2 dual-core chipset, which is clocked at 1 GHz. They are joined by 1GB of RAM and an optional 8 GB or 16 GB of internal memory. About the SD card slot the memory can be expanded up to 32 GB. The display measures 10.1 inches with a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels.
Acer promises Android 4.0 update
Delivered the device will initially be running Android 3.2 (Honeycomb). The manufacturer promises but still in the first quarter of 2012, an update to 4.0 ("Ice Cream Sandwich").
